Entry requirements are the formal requirements students need to meet to be considered for a place on a university course. But, each year many universities accept students with lower grades. The bar chart below shows the actual UCAS tariff points of students currently on this course.
Required subjects for Fashion and Textiles HND at South Thames College Group (inc Carshalton, South Thames and Kingston College)
Applicants must possess an HNC (Level 4) Art and Design, Fashion or Textiles qualification in order to be considered for this course.
Suitable applicants will be invited to interview, where they will be required to further demonstrate their suitability for the course by bringing a portfolio of artwork for review. A copy of your HNC module transcripts will also be requested, and the original will be required for review during enrolment. References from an official email address (ie. NOT Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) must be provided. This can be from your previous institution if you were a student in the last 4 years or from a line manager if you are currently working.
Students without an HNC (Level 4), may be able to take the two-year course starting with the HNC.
Mature students with relevant experience may also be considered.
Maths and English GCSEs at grade C or above are also required
