Living here has honestly become such a special part of my university journey 🥹🏠💗. From having friends over, cooking together, random late-night conversations and laughing over the smallest things, we’ve created so many memories that I know I’ll look back on forever. I’ve met some amazing people and made friendships that I never expected, and it’s so nice knowing there’s always someone around to talk to, laugh with or make plans with. Even through the stressful and sad moments, we’ve been able to support each other and make this place feel like more than just accommodation. I also have to mention how lovely the staff are, especially Helena and Qi Lee 🥰 They’ve made living here feel so welcoming and have genuinely been part of our experience too. It’s the little conversations, familiar faces and feeling looked after that make such a difference. This is 100% the best student accommodation in Sheffield. The size of the bedrooms is amazing, and any problems get sorted very quickly and with no problems. There are really good facilities and it’s nice to have en suite bathrooms. I’ve never had any problems with other students living here and everyone is very respectful and it’s a nice community. I would recommend it to anybody if they’re just moving into student accommodation or are thinking about switching you’ll always be supported living here. One of the best things about living here is the staff members Amy & Ryan, my university journey hasn’t been particularly smooth however these two have been amazing and always supported me, they go way above and beyond their job role with a genuine care for students and their wellbeing, they deserve so much recognition for that. I genuinely would have really struggled to get through the last year without them both. read more

I think value for money is a controversial one for nursing as most people believe student nurses should be paid for what they’re doing instead of having to pay to do it themselves. The ‘assessing and planning for person centred care’ module I enjoy as it’s hands on and I feel I’m learning whereas other modules are less helpful and they’re just reading from powerpoints. My tutor Gayle is lovely, she does everything she can to help our group and always wants to help. read more

This is a large University with a large and good quality teaching team. The education you receive is from experts in their field. There is a nice balance between academic and practical sessions, and being in Sheffield the range of placements are wide, especially with two massive teaching hospitals next door. If anything could be improved, then the amount of time in clinical scenarios could be increased, these sessions were ones everyone looked forward to and provided you with an outlet to practice in a safe environment. Highlight of the three years has to be SMART day! read more
