Required subjects for Early Years and Primary Education (3-7) with QTS BA Hons at Sheffield Hallam University
This must include at least two A levels including at least 40 points in each, one of which would normally be a primary national curriculum subject though this is not essential, or DDM from equivalent BTEC National qualifications. For example:
BBB-ABB at A Level.
DDM in BTEC Extended Diploma.
Distinction overall from a T Level Qualification.
A combination of qualifications, which may include AS Levels, EPQ and general studies.

I am currently studying in my second year on the Early childhood studies course at Sheffield Hallam (0-8 years) and I have really enjoyed all the content taught so far. I like the verity of different jobs that my course offers from, Child therapists to home visitors and Nursery/KS1 teaching. My course has given me a taste of what all 3 can offer as a potential future job. The support from my academic advisor has be particularly helpful when making decisions throughout the course so far and also just for a one-to-one chat when needed.
