I had a wonderful experience staying at Parish Hall and truly could not recommend it more. The environment feels safe, welcoming, and genuinely student-focused. A very special thank you to Maria, the Contract and Scheme Manager, who is incredibly responsive and sincerely cares for every tenant. She handles concerns quickly and always goes the extra mile to make sure we are comfortable and supported. Huge appreciation as well to all the receptionists who work around the clock to ensure our safety and wellbeing. Knowing there is always someone available 24/7 brings so much peace of mind. I also love how thoughtful the team is — from complimentary snacks in the common room to being inclusive and accommodating of different cultural celebrations. It really makes Parish Hall feel like a community, not just an accommodation. I am grateful for such a positive and seamless student living experience read more

The accommodation is in a very good location (very near the university). It looks modern and clean, with great facilities including a big common room, a gym that is not very big but not too small, and a laundry room with three washing machines and three clothes dryers. The staff are very kind and helpful. They are always there whenever I need help, which is the part I like most about this accommodation. read more

i love being on campus, the library is the perfect place to study or the reading rooms in founders building. I also love crosslands in founders building, me and my friends go there for lunch all the time as well as taking advantage of the convenience of the SU shop which is so helpful despite the steep prices. It is a beautiful, well taken care of campus and i enjoy spending my time there every day! read more

Royal Holloway, University of London
My time at Royal Holloway has been a bit of a mixed bag, defined by a campus experience that feels premium in price but inconsistent in quality. On the plus side, the accommodation is conveniently central and well-maintained, and the Careers Service does a fantastic job of supporting students' future goals. However, the living environment is marred by a frightening number of rats scurrying around outside, which is hard to ignore. The social life is where the value really drops; the Students’ Union is incredibly expensive and lacks any real spark, to the point where it feels like no one goes out anymore. Ultimately, while the university isn't bad overall, it often feels like an extremely overpriced clubbing experience where, ironically, you’re better off heading into London for a night out since even the capital manages to be cheaper than the campus su. read more

Royal Holloway, University of London
Royal Holloway, University of London offers a really supportive and engaging academic environment. The campus is beautiful and well-maintained, and it genuinely feels like a community rather than just a place to study. The historic Founder’s Building in particular gives the university a unique atmosphere that makes campus life enjoyable and inspiring. Academically, the university provides a strong learning experience with knowledgeable lecturers who are approachable and willing to help. The courses are well-structured, and there are plenty of resources available to support students, including libraries, study spaces, and academic guidance. I’ve found the teaching to be both challenging and rewarding. Student life at Royal Holloway is also very active, with a wide range of societies, events, and opportunities to get involved, making it easy to meet people from different backgrounds. read more

I mean the most annoying part is the distance between buildings to get from lecture to seminar or wherever it is you need to go, everything is overpriced in the Uni, including buying a bottle of water, like why is the Uni in the middle of nowhere, onto the teachers, all my teachers have a fuzzy accent , that im trying to figure out what they are even saying despite them being partially responsible for my grades in the end. I think this is common at every Uni, our uni is just full of people who like to party, drink and smoke like way too much, one thing everyone can complain about is the walk up the hill from the rear side entrance of the Uni, that will literally make you question your fitness despite having 6 pack abs and 20 hours a week on the treadmill. That's pretty much it, uni football is expensive, but the big orange building is definitely a good highlight for real read more
