Being an international student was initially very difficult as this was my first time being in the UK. However, with the support provided by the University through social event, talks and programs specifically targeting international students to help with living in the UK and as encouraged to socialise helped me get more comfortable. Royal Holloway is a pleasant campus University to attend if you don't mind one on the smaller side. The facilities are fine and the staff for the most part are helpful and friendly. Though security is known to be a problem, especially on nights out even if you aren't causing trouble. read more
