This Japanese studies course is not worth the money you're paying in tuition. Your language skills will not be developed, and instead, you will spend the majority of your time completing tasks that do not develop your skills. For example, in the final year, during the midst of a pandemic, our assessments have been focused on completing group work, such as, study plans. We are final year students, I think we have figured out how to study by now. Why are we being graded on group study plans? Why are we being graded on group work? You barely get any classroom time and the assessments do not make sense. You will reach a much higher level by studying by yourself & or taking private lessons, which will cost less too. If I could, I would switch universities. read more
