I’ve had a really positive experience at Oxford Brookes University. One of the things I appreciate most is the supportive and approachable teaching staff, who genuinely want students to succeed both academically and professionally. The courses are designed with employability in mind, with many offering practical experience, placements, and strong industry connections. The facilities are excellent, particularly at the Headington Campus. The John Henry Brookes Building provides modern study spaces, a well-equipped library, and great social areas that make campus life enjoyable and productive. There are also plenty of opportunities to get involved outside of lectures, whether through sports teams, societies, volunteering, or student-led events. read more

It’s okay the new campus is great I guess but SO but focus on formula student. Completely disregarding other societies. Even prioritising OBR over people writing their dissertation allowing those in formula student to use facilities required by some writing a dissertation. read more

The best accommodation in Oxford by quite a margin. The biggest advantage is the location with Tesco just next door and a 20 minute walk to the city centre. The facilities are great consisting of a cinema room, gym, games room, pool/lounge room and a terrace. The staff are very friendly and professional. Also a great range of high quality appliances such as Miele washing machines and Bosch kitchen appliances. The building is always kept in a spotless state. Compared to other accommodations in Oxford I stayed at, this place is very quiet and professional. Additionally a great community as events are held frequently. read more
