The society’s are so inclusive and there are so many to choose from and they plan great nights out. The facility’s are so good on campus with a shop, subway, coffee shop and more. It’s so close to town so a great location. The gym is amazing too and a great price. It’s a very clean campus too. read more

I've had a great university experience! Campus is so accessible and the business school is in a great location. Everyone is friendly and helpful. First year I stayed in accommodation and lived ( coincidentally ) with people who were not far from me at home and also on the same course as me. Fortunately we got along so well and all became best friends so it didn't take me long to settle in. My course is business management so a large group of people. The downside to it is your seminars and lecture groups change quite often so you don't get to make friends and then stay with them throughout different semesters. If i could change one thing it would be to have consistent seminar groups and more teamwork and creative modules. These are the ones I've found very realistic and fun. I am currently on a placement year which I have found through graduate futures. This is a portal northumbria has given me access to which advertises all available placements and grad schemes etc! so good read more

Our favourite expo moment happened at the campus wellness fair. We'd spent weeks preparing our stand on PODS gyms — the concept of compact fitness pods for campus and corporate spaces — and on the day, everything finally came together. The moment that stuck with us was watching a steady stream of students and staff stop by, try a demo, and genuinely engage with the idea. One group of students stayed for ages, asking questions and debating where pods would work best on campus. It was the first time we saw our concept land with a real audience — not just in our heads, but in actual conversations with people who might one day use it. That energy made all the prep worth it. read more
