Everything is perfect. I'm a design student, and the facilities are brand new, and the school always smells good. Clubs and student councils host new events every week, allowing you to participate in a variety of events for a small fee. The professors are friendly and give me accurate feedback on where I need to improve, and they even offer career counseling. They even email me with any job openings. Wi-Fi is free if you sign up for an account. I absolutely do not regret coming to this university. read more

I have been in this Uni for over 2 years now, and safe to say this is the only Uni that seems to be very much involved, in terms of academic support, student well-being and student activities and events. Other major universities I have been in weren't as involved as Northumbria is. Enjoying my time here so far. read more

The wifi suffers from interference with some walls being too thick or some lecture halls too high or low and with no wifi boosters to assist. Some campus buildings need updating as some still look like they are around the time they were designed and built and stuck that way. read more

Great university especially for my course. We have access to a mock courtroom where we can compete in moots which have been very useful for my development and understanding of legal argument. There is also the student law office where we can contribute positively to real-life cases from the public. However, beyond academics, the Students Union also offers several opportunities especially during freshers week to socialise and enjoy oneself, such as hosting comedy nights, open mic nights and drag show nights. Furthermore, Northumbria offers events under 'Be Part Of It' such as discounted fitness classes, cinema and theatre viewings, baking and cooking workshops, outdoor experiences etc. which are a really great way to meet like-minded people and get a taste for new experiences. read more
