Required subjects for Economics BSc Hons at Newcastle University

Excluding General Studies. While we are willing to consider any combination of A Level subjects (excluding General Studies), we prefer students to be studying two of the following: Mathematics Further Mathematics English Literature Physics Biology Chemistry Geography History Languages Economics or Business Studies* Government and Politics Statistics *We do not consider the two taken together as two of the preferred subjects. Achievement of a minimum of five GCSE grades A*-C or 8-4, or equivalent, is normally required. GCSE Mathematics grade A or 7 and English Language or Literature grade B or 6 required if not taken at A or AS level.
