Required subjects for Biology BSc Hons at Newcastle University
Including Biology and normally another science-related subject from: Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Geography, Psychology, Environmental Science or Geology. General Studies is excluded. Chemistry is preferred at A or AS level, but not essential. For Biology, Chemistry and Physics A levels, we require a pass in the practical element. GCSE Mathematics minimum grade B or 6 if not offered at A or AS level.

I had a very mixed experience with my course, some of the modules were great especially the biotechnology module but due to lecturers being spread thinly with little time on their hands, the quality of lectures / teaching / experiments was, at some times, poor. read more

With everything being online and no labs being in person it's just too much money. 1st year that was normal was good value of money though. Most professors are great but not all of them. Personal tutor is great just not always helpful. Course content not what i expected. Too much plant biology which I'm not a fan of personally. You could find a lot of jobs with a biology degree read more
