Teaching at Manchester Met is good overall. But it tends to more learner focused and self study. Lecturesrs interaction is 20 percent and 80 % is independent study. Teacher are approachable and helpful. But for assessment you have to work by yourself and have to struggle for finding mentor who can guide you through and review your assessments. Overall, lectures are recorded and tutorials are there for further understanding and lecture materials are available online on university app.

Lots of support available, passionate lecturers and a bit emphasis on sustainability within the lectures which is something very important to me. The course in not really bad but sometimes I feel like the teaching quality should be a little higher. For example, sometimes when they explain something about our assignment they tend to complicate things more. Course content could be a lot better with more accounting, finance or management modules which are more connected with employers' demands. Of course we had a Business Research Methods module but we did not have proper guidance and in the end the majority of students were disappointed with their grade. Also the content of this module had to do with how a proper research should be conducted rather than being a module that includes all the things that I mentioned above. Marketing People Technologies and Organisations is a good module and not very difficult. Also all modules involve a lot of team work activities and creativity, like the Ideas Creativity and Entrepreneurship module. In general it is a good course depending on your interests. read more
