Required subjects for Contemporary Music, Performance and Production BA Hons at Loughborough College

A2 or equivalent, (e.g BTEC Extended Diploma), preferably to include music, music technology or other music related subjects. • Recent study of relevant Access/Foundation course, with audition. • Applicants are invited to attend an audition and submit of a portfolio. The portfolio can take the form of web links to both composition and performance work. These are both diagnostic tools to help inform the application process. • Applicants with appropriate life experience but without the standard entry requirements are encouraged to apply and will be considered on their individual merits, based on the interview and completed application. • Alternatively, applicants may be able to gain entry to Level 4 or advanced entry to Level 5 based on the evidence of other qualifications or learning. In this case, Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) or Accreditation of Prior Certified Learning (APCL) may be possible.
