The university is great but there is little to no support for struggling students, there is support teams in place but not many take you seriously. The student union needs a lot of work as no one really knows what they do and they aren't really that good. Apart from that the University is great. read more

I have really enjoyed my time at John Moore’s and would highly recommend it to students looking to apply to university. The campuses are quite close together so there’s no need to rush around to get to your next lecture. I really enjoyed the library and find it helps me get my work done. All the tutors I’ve had have been so lovely and supportive, they truly want what’s best for you. There’s always something going on around campus to get involved in if you ever feel a bit overwhelmed or homesick, there are also a number of services and staff who are there to help you whenever you need. read more

Overall, my experience at LJMU has been mixed and, unfortunately, not the best for me personally. While the university has good resources and the course content itself can be interesting, I’ve found the lack of face-to-face teaching to be a major downside. There are very few in-person classes, which makes it harder to stay engaged and fully understand the material. Additionally, assignments are often not explained clearly enough. More detailed guidance and examples would really help students feel confident about what is expected. Communication has also been an issue, as responses from lecturers can take a long time, which can be frustrating when you need support or clarification within tight deadlines. That said, LJMU does have potential, and with more face-to-face teaching, clearer assignment instructions, and quicker communication from staff, the overall student experience could be significantly improved read more

Good gym only up to 42kg though needs to increase to 50kg dumbbells for people such as me and others, very good support system for children who are struggling financially also definitely one of the better unis out there in terms of support and facilities and especially a great social aspect all around read more
