Paramedic Science, BSc Hons FullTime
Starting the Paramedic Science course at LJMU as a first-year has been challenging but really rewarding. The course is intense, and there’s a lot to take in at first, from anatomy and physiology to clinical skills, but the way it’s taught makes it manageable. The lecturers are approachable and really supportive, always willing to answer questions or give extra guidance if you’re struggling with something. I’ve also found the practical sessions really engaging it’s great to get hands on experience and start applying what you’ve learned straight away. Being in my first year, it can feel overwhelming at times, especially balancing theory, practical work, and placements, but the university provides good support and resources to help you manage. The other students are really friendly too, and it’s nice knowing everyone’s in the same boat, learning together and helping each other out. Overall, it’s a fantastic start to a career in paramedicine. read more
