Psychology and Special Educational Needs, BA Hons FullTime
Everything is so good! The courses are amazing and the tutors put in so much and meet with you so often! The only downsides I would say for psychology is that we don't have an overwhelming range of specialist equipment for psychology and you get a 12 week course on each aspect of psychology so if you wanted to go really in depth in bio-psych for example, you would need to look at a different course. For SEN, the course is fantastic but please be aware that it is a disability rights course, not a 'how to' in the classroom course. Whilst there are elements of SEN and disability in education, this is not the full extent of the course and that trips people up sometimes! I'm glad that it exceeded my expectations as it's opened me up to a wider range of understandings of myself and others, but for those wanting to look specifically at SEN in education, it may be worth going elsewhere. read more
