Lancaster University honestly changed my life. I’ve made the most wonderful friends here and the city and campus are truly beautiful. My tutors have all been lovely and i’m truly sad to be finishing this year. The only downside would be the sparse nightlife, but a train to Manchester is only an hour away - and theres still 4 decent clubs and plenty of bars to visit. Honestly its not a big deal. The campus has lots of lovely spots and honestly Lancaster became my home away from home and I’d recommend it to anyone. Very glad I came here read more

It’s a nice and pretty campus, good bus services to town centre. But not many affordable shops on the campus, and only expensive small businesses or larger more expensive chains. There are quite a few events offered by the university so there’s something for everyone. read more

Lancaster University
I’ve really enjoyed studying at Lancaster. The uni itself is top-notch with great lecturers who have published at top journals, helpful staff, and a campus that’s easy to settle into. Yeah, Lancaster the city isn’t exactly the most exciting place on earth. It’s pretty quiet, especially at night. But the saving grace is what’s around it. Morecambe is close if you want some sea air, and the Lake District is amazing for day trips or weekend adventures. read more

Been to this uni for many years since 2021. There's definitely improvements needs (from an administrative side of things). A lot of things are underfunded which makes me sad. The societies and clubs are great and there's so much effort put in them from the students. I love this university but I wish they cared about their staff and students instead of money. The campus is quite big and that's probably why the wifi isn't as reliable. It's great near the centre of campus like in Furness college or the library. read more
