The university campus is a lovely environment to study and socialise. The campus is very green and the buildings are tasteful. The lectures and structure are great. The downside is the students union is not very prominent and the nightlife is not so good. read more

Lancaster is a fantastic uni - welcoming, supportive, and informative. I’ve enjoyed all my studies here and will be sad to go. Its flaws mainly stem from lack of funding which appears to be a systemic issue. I have always felt that the teaching and support staff really cared about my experience. read more

Great uni! Theres lots of support for students especially with wellbeing. Tons of society options that are welcoming. I don't drink and was concerned about sports societies but the frisbee team has been amazing! There was no pressure and i still feel like a valued member of the club. The campus is well designed and the community on it is excellent. You can't walk anywhere without bumping into someone you know which is honestly lovely. They are constantly thinking about how to improve and checking the course is working for you, ensuring the student experience is still good. Highly recommend read more

The moment I landed in the kingdom with nobody to greet me other than border officers and as a first timer I was so pumped on adrenaline I was just going through it, no thinking just go In it. First day at University, already late and missed the welcome events and week hearts beating fast, unknown faces and nationalities as far as my eyes see. But we get it done checked in and explored around this new world of academia. Second day first class no friends, no connection and a heartbeat that won't go quite. Call it luck I meet a guy from the same course sitting next to me on the bus heading straight into it. We arrive early to first class and I introduce myself "who is a big introvert" the spirits of Lancaster were guiding me and I wasn't panicking as I would think I would. It was natural and smooth. From the first to the second and now it's my day 19 and here I am somewhat whole, somewhat missing. What keeps me alive n fresh is working on myself and the people around me. Magical read more

Though it can look a bit grim sometimes (grey skies and rain etc etc), Lancaster has a great campus that is easy to find your way round. There are a good selection of cafes, shops and bars, and everyone is friendly. The Thursday markets in Alex Square are brilliant and you can usually find a hog roast, something sweet and delicious or a new houseplant... read more

I’ve had an absolutely wonderful stay at St Leonard's House. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Sainsbury’s and local bus stops, which makes daily shopping and travelling around Lancaster incredibly convenient. The accommodation has high-quality, well-maintained facilities and the rooms are really spacious and comfortable. There is a great on-site gym available for all residents, which is such a brilliant bonus for students. The staff members are warm, polite and always willing to help whenever you need anything. The maintenance service is exceptional. Whenever I raised a repair request, the team responded really quickly and fixed the issue to a very high standard. One lovely little perk is that the reception regularly hands out free snacks for people living here. These small thoughtful touches make the whole place feel welcoming and homely. Overall, this is an excellent student accommodation. I would highly recommend St Leonard's House to any students looking for a place read more
