When I came to Lancaster University, I thought I would be moving to a very unfamiliar place which isn't very welcoming, and that the university life here would be more so dull as Lancaster isn't a very big place. But actually attending this uni made me change my mind and I actually really enjoy the quiet aspect of this place as well as the big range of societies, takeaways and events it has. This 1st month has been great and I expect it to be even greater. read more

The environment of Lancaster Univeristy is great, I’m glad the campus is surrounded by so much nature. It’s also really helpful having so many stores on campus such as Spar and Co-op, as it would cost a lot more if I had to get a bus everytime to go into Lancaster itself. read more

Overall solid experience so far in regards to the facilities and student life. One downside could be if you are walking from north side with the sports centre on the left, LUSU could introduce a walking path rather than walking on wet grass read more

My experience at Lancaster has been nothing but welcoming and great fun. I feel supported by staff including lecturers, porters, and lab technicians who all go above and beyond to make sure my transition into student life goes as smoothly as possible. The facilities are amazing, with lots of green space for long walks, cozy cafes for a long study session, and bars and common rooms with free pool tables and fun freshers week events. read more
