Dentistry, BDS FullTime

Intense but incredibly rewarding. The course is demanding with a heavy workload, especially in the early years, but it builds a strong foundation in both theory and clinical skills. Hands-on experience starts early, which helps boost confidence. Balancing practicals, lectures, and exams can be tough, but the support from staff and peers makes a big difference. It’s a close-knit, competitive yet collaborative environment. If you’re passionate about healthcare, problem-solving, and working with people, dentistry is a fulfilling path that prepares you well for a challenging but respected career.

Staff at KCH and West Norwood are inspirational including Drs Saravanamuttu, Chau, Hothi, Lakis and Dr Chris Dickenson at Guy's campis. however, at Guy's campus it occasionally feels that some of the clinical tutors are not happy to teach and seem to not create a healthy learning environment read more
