CMCI has been an extremely fun and enriching course to study. I have genuinely enjoyed the content further sometimes you may find somethings repetitive but the large variety of options helps you to choose your likes and dislikes and has been very enriching for my career

Currently a 1st year into my course, it's an interdisciplinary course about many principles surrounding Media and Communications, Culture Studies and Creative Industries. So far, it has set up the ground work for the studies in my following years and while it has not felt entirely satisfactory at points, it was definitely interesting and engaging to my own interests and preferences. I think the course is going to get better and even more interesting later on but can feel slow and misleading at times since it is advertised as a practical course when in reality, it isn't, and is very theory based. read more

The content itself is very interesting and is well geared towards future job prospects in the creative industries - however the support for students is not there. You can understand as it's a very new course that a lot of the lecturers, seminar-leaders and office leads are figuring out how to best give feedback, structure the readings etc, however so far it's been very lacking, especially with the strikes (there have been no lectures uploaded from previous years even though the content is there). The feedback is also very basic and there is no sense of real criticism. read more
