Computer Science and Music Production, BSc Hons FullTime

So far, it feels like Music Production is being taught better. It's very hands-on in the studio. It's also a subject where you're assumed to have had some prior music experience, like if you took GCSE Music, meaning I was learning many new things just from attending the first lecture. Computer Science is different - the first semester at least is primarily aimed at people who may not have taken GCSE or A-Level Computer Science, so it's quite basic for those who did take these subjects. There is also only one Music Production session a week unless you pick a module. Computer Science has significantly more sessions to attend every week, and the class size is very large. read more
