Physics, BSc Hons FullTime

Imperial Physics is a very “love-hate” course. On one hand, the student body generally loves physics, we wouldn’t have taken it if we didn’t, but the majority of us don’t enjoy the way imperial go about teaching it. Feedback is poor, it takes months to get problem sheets and exams results back. They also won’t give you your exam transcript back at all, just your raw mark, so there’s no way to see how you can improve. The work load is high, very high, don’t expect much spare time if you want to keep up. Lectures as a whole a really good, taught by real life geniuses gets you the best explanations for difficult topics but can also lead to some confusing maths. read more
