Decent accommodation but could definitely find something bigger/cheaper within London. I enjoyed the social aspect of halls and made a lot of friends. However, when I was in halls we constantly had security in our building after Freshers Week and found out at the end of the year it was because an intruder came into our building and sexually assaulted someone. Also, someone was stabbed on campus. Cleaning staff were always friendly though and the internet was decent.
The accommodation is nice and clean and there is plenty to do around the area. There is a gym next to the buildings, a basketball court, and a good place to walk next to the Thames. The transport is very good and there are two dlrs on dock lands campus, as well as buses that go to Stratford campus. There is a campus shop that sells overpriced snacks and food. On the other hand there are a lot of alternative places to eat, at least two coffee shops to choose from , a canteen for lunch and an outside foot truck that varies depending on the day. The library is very good everything you need and want in a library. The accommodation however can be unpleasant as noise problems are rarely solved by calling the security, and they were issues with kitchens and bathrooms and had to be relocated one year. Third year was much better.
Not good enough compared to other universities
Halls were basic, no communal spaces and next to an extremely loud airport
2 years living on campus couldn’t be any better lovely accommodation.
Non-applicable, no opinion.
The halls are nothing exceptional, too expensive considering what they offer.
