Management was really bad, problems were not resolved properly. Power cut caused the entire Halls to be evacuated for several days as well as the management not updating residents properly. Compensation was not provided, other than a £25 food voucher and insurance for the frozen food that was gone off. Rent wasn’t refunded, despite three nights not being spent in the halls. On top of this, the halls flooded at the beginning of the year causing some students not to be able to stay in their rooms. WiFi is constantly down. Cleaners hardly clean

decent room w/ lots of storage space fire alarm went off every week, and its deafening the kitchens are only dirty if its from a flatmate who cba to clean up after themselves. a couple of my flatmates had their kitchen stuff go missing too, so be wary. surprisingly didn't hear any ..intimate stuff.. through the walls, but did hear ppl peeing, loud burps, and singing in the shower...also a heard a guy screaming about killing someone at 1 in the morning buutttt don't worry about that he was probably just high..oh yeah and it might smell of weed in ur flat. enjoy xoxo
Halls are quite far from campus, Deanery is great because the rooms have en suites but it’s not a very social halls. People tend to keep to their flats.
Room size is woeful, thank f*** I have unlimited 4g because the “premium” WiFi is as reliable as Arsenal’s back four, and slower than your grandma’s driving. Common room is poorly maintained, the pool table cloth has four or five large tears making it almost unplayable.
Cleaners are great and regular, socially it’s amazing too

Not good value for money, had a lot of problems staying here
Modern rooms with plenty of space
I love the halls that I am in. I get along with all flatmates and everyday is a great day
It’s okay for a hall of residence. Some maintenance issues take a long time to get fixed however.
Lol if you like 50 powercuts a week then it’s all yours
The halls are okay not really worth the money they make you pay but the security staff are amazing especially Dave. Great place for feeling secure.
The halls were not what I expected

One of the better halls as it’s seperated in flats so it’s more sociable. However from my own experiences living here there has been many issues I’ve had silverfish pests in my bathroom and not a lot gets done about it, we’ve had floods and multiple power cuts, one power cut it’s still on going and has been since Thursday which we all got evicted to other halls. We’ve been left without water in our kitchen and bathroom multiple times. Really disappointment with the ongoing problems of these halls as I thought for the expense of these it would be a much better experience, especially as some of our parents have had to pay extra than our loan to afford the rent in these halls.
Horrible people, security will have a go out you for anything. Andi will charge you as much as she can. Paper thin walls. AVOID FOR FRESHSERS
Social hall with the bonus of privacy when needed! Had some great partiesat deanery but having my own bathroom was amazing!
When i go into the kitchen and i turn on the tap water goes out at atleast 1000C hottest hotness
Paper thin walls as to be expected, but the nicest halls you'll find, full of great people. Andi (manager) and her team go out their way to do anything for you, the 24/7 security team also are amazing! If you can afford its extortionate price tag, do it!
Only negative is that some of the residences can't handle their Jaeger bombs a.k.a B BLOCK xox
Nice rooms, good kitchen our cleaners have basically stopped cleaning our kitchen and hall.
Nice halls with en-suite bathrooms. Studentcom wifi is hit & miss, usually good.
comlared to other university's I have visited halls were massive compared to my room. Maintenance took a week to fix my shower
Negatives: - quite run down for the money you spend - very compact rooms - loud lifts - can't open the windows more than an inch! - 10 minute walk to uni Positives: - really well run by staff: security guards, cleaners, reception etc - nice outdoor area to socialise in summer - ensuite toilets - though I think it actually made things a little less social than other halls that had to share. It's easy to hide away in your room when you don't really need to leave it! All round ok halls - but could definitely do with a revamp as there's other halls that have been built recently that are amazing value for money. You are either going to love or loath halls, I much preferred my last two years in a house - it was much more homely and comfortable. If you want halls that have the privacy of your own bathroom but still the opportunity to socialise via sharing a kitchen then deanery is for you. Just don't expect 5* luxury!
Deanery has provided a great introduction to uni, the atmosphere has been fantastic from day one. Halls have introduced me to people I will be friends with for life. The value for your money is pretty good, the management team are friendly and deal with any problems promptly. I can't complain, smiles all round!
