Quite expensive and must share bathroom with 5 more guys. Somewhat bad.
It's dead socially. The location is the only good thing. My room sucks.
In terms of location, this halls is fantastic, and the building is generally nice, with a decent social space, friendly staff and its kept clean. However, its pretty unsociable, and has a fair few problems. Not to say they don't try; there are tons of social events and parties that they organise, its just that everyone in this hall is a little useless at interaction! But, if you need a room, this is a good halls for that, and it does have its merits.
It's a nice, friendly hall that is in a really good location for lse students- it's a very quick walk to campus. The rooms are comfy and sharing a kitchen means you get to know your kitchen mates really well.
The people who live there are mainly rich undergrads who act entitled and inconsiderately towards their fellow peers.

My only problem with Holborn, which is why it gets a low rating for me in terms of the social experience, was the flat system. It meant you couldn't do what you could do normally at halls, and just drop in and meet people. You couldn't get into other people's flats or have spontaneous gatherings because the flats were enclosed and you could only get into your own flat through your fob key (which meant to meet people required a little planning since you had to let them in and when term gets busy it becomes an obstacle). Past that, I had only one incident with hall management, for which they reimbursed me.
