Most helpful review

Amazing accommodation, double bed, en-suite (that is an actual decent size rather than a cupboard). Right near the centre of the city, massive Sainsburys just round the corner, amazing views from the 4th floor

It's in a great location and super cheap. But every single flat had problems with rats. The lock on my bedroom door didn't work and was never fixed and sometimes even the electric leycard lock to get into the building would not work, leaving you stranded outside. The fire alarm was also broken and would go off unprompted about 4 or 5 times a week. Not sure if it's still broken - but there are no security on site as they are based down the road at Loring Hall, and they sure took their sweet time to come. We would often be waiting outside in the cold at 3am for about 20-30 minutes for a pair of security guards to slowly trudge down the five minute walk. If it had been a real fire this would have been incredibly dangerous.
