Chelsea was incredible when she worked there, but the other woman was utterly disgusting. I had a racist issue where another tenant called me the n word and a monkey in Italian and my Italian friend was able to translate, Cass did not try and sort it out, she told me that she hopes me and my friends don’t go bullying the racist girl. Social areas are good but too many rules for uni halls, it feels like your in primary school. Rent is way too expensive. They don’t care about the occupiers mental health at all, disgusting.
Big rooms! Never had a single problem with sharing bathrooms - everyone has different schedules, and some people are morning showerers and others evening ones, so really its fine! Taking the bus is not as bad as one may think! The convenience of living 5 minutes away from the city centre is superb! Big Sainsbury's 5 minutes away! Laundrette within the compound! Lovely staff! Unfortunately there are no common spaces aside from the park benches outside (not that cozy in the winter!) but once you get to know everyone on your floor, people just begin to meet up in your kitchen so it's really no big deal! The beds are horrible though - definitely worth investing in an extra mattress. Bins are changed regularly, and cleaners come once a week, as long as you and your flatmates keep the place relatively tidy and clean there should be no problem!
