There is no lounge, however, with only 10 students the bottom floor kitchen is big enough to house house gatherings. The house is also directly opposite campus and the NHS Health centre. It is next to Fairfield which has the accomodation social space with a pool table, games and couches. Wansfell has it's own drying room and bike storage and kitchens are only shared between 3/4 people, depending on the floor. I have loved my stay in Wansfell and have found it is a nice, quiet retreat from some of the other halls.
No access to any form of social area for students other than the expensive pubs around Ambleside. I can only speculate that this is a direct result of there being no Student Union presence in Ambleside and our money being diverted towards the Carlisle and Lancaster campus'.
