I've been here since September and I'm pleasantly surprised to be completely honest. I thought my room was going to be small but it wasn't I have so much space and there's also a fridge/freezer!!!! I thought the bathrooms were going to be small but theres plenty of space, the actual shower room the water does splash out but you can just get a mop and bucket. If not it does dry up by itself. The laundry room is also good since there are 2 washing machines and 2 dryers most of the time one is always empty but i usually go a night when they're never in use haha. Even though there is Covid-19 we have our small support bubble groups and from time to time we meet in the kitchen get take away and chat for hours even though we don't have a common room this is really entertaining since we can bring our cards or monopoly there. I would really recommend this place especially for new students since it's right next to the Uni.

i am in a twin room here and have found it great value for money the room is clean and spacious. the bathrooms are great however they have just been refurbished on my floor. some flats had new kitchens and others new bathrooms. our kitchen is still old and needs replacing it has a very dirty floor it is small and the table in the middle cannot be moved and you cannot walk either side of it to use the sink or open the doors properly. the cleaners clean the bathroom and empty the bins in the kitchen 3 times a week the level of cleaning in the bathroom depends on which cleaner has cleaned it. no one in my flat cleans the bathroom themselves so i can't complain. the internet is sometimes down for a few hours but living next door to the library if i need to do something urgently i can use the wifi in there. the maintenance team are great i have had several problems with the window in my flat also the electrics went off one night. great location for 1st years.
Not what was advertised, the toilets and showers and migin and unpleasant. The kitchen is very small and still has dirt from in inhabits that stayed last year.
It's the cheapest and the best. It's all very open so great for getting to know people, the kitchens are big and can be used for socialising (we always used ours for pres and squashed a fair few people in). All the snobs go to the expensive halls so it's full.of lovely down to earth people. It's right next to uni so you can roll into your lectures. The rooms have sinks and fridges which is ideal. (can make a cup of tea without leaving the room). The shared toilets are very basic and a bit dingy but you'll get used to that and it's with it cause you're not paying a fortune
Badly maintained, small social spaces (kitchens about 6m x 6m), common hallway toilets, below-standard internet. Good location easily accessed from uni and city centre. Bad building in a great spot.
It was decent ... it’s not the 5 seasons but you have everything you need in a home, except a social area, but it seems like the residents use the garden and the common kitchens for that so it isn’t that big of a deal... super chilled vibes and is literally a minute walk to the ARU library !
People have stolen my food, toilet and shower are dirty all the time so is the kitchen
One of ARU's cheapest accommodation offers but you pretty much get what you pay for, Has all the essentials and amazing people here just not much in terms of living space. Really useful location being on campus.
The kitchen's in the first floor are really worn down and need returning like all the other floors have had done. The cleanliness was not of a good standard when I first moved in either.
