Marketgate is right opposite Bristol’s main shopping centre & has easy access to the Old Market neighbourhood, shops, bars, restaurants, culture & sights of the city centre.
Marketgate is exclusively for UWE students and is known for being a lively and social student accommodation situated right next to Old Market. Staying here means you have plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants, nightlife, culture and Cabot Circus right on your doorstep. Within a thirty-minute bus ride, you can reach the University of the West of England Frenchay campus as well as the Bower Ashton and Glenside campuses.
After a long day of class, you can watch TV or challenge your friends to a game of pool, foosball or ping-pong, all of which can be found in the common area. If you are needing to get some work done, you can take advantage of the communal study space. For your benefit, there are handy vending machines.
All rooms at Marketgate are available for booking via the UWE accommodation team and come in a variety of sizes. You can choose to stay with friends in an en-suite room, where you have your own private room and bathroom, whilst sharing a kitchen and lounge.
