A previous library qualification, eg Libraries Archives and Information Services Certificate or Diploma is desirable but not essential. Students holding the Applications of ICT in LIbraries qualification at level 7 will be accredited for the Library Information Communication Technology 1 and Introduction to Professional Practice modules. Students holding the Applications of ICT in LIbraries qualification at level 8 will be accredited for the Library Information Communication Technology 2 and Training and Support in a Library Context modules. Students holding the Higher Apprenticeship in Cultural Heritage Management will be accredited for the Information Sources and Collection Management modules.
