I’m thoroughly enjoying my experience at Goldsmiths. My tutors are lovely, and the course is engaging and rewarding. However, the recurring threat of strikes and staff redundancies concerns me. I fully support our tutors, their right to take industrial action and their freedom of speech. Goldsmiths must stop cutting lecturers and academic staff. They are central to education, and students need stability while staff deserve job security. I love my experience so far and want to see Goldsmiths thrive, but this cycle of cuts cannot continue. read more

I’m a postgraduate student in goldsmiths. As an international student, before I arrive there I already received several information about school in website. There’s also some stuff loading informations in social media. Which makes me adapt quickly. As an international student, goldsmiths provide a series of event to help us adapt quick. There’s even some stuff using Chinese for campus tour, and several unions for different languages! At the same time, school have a bunch of brilliant team and unions. The university's major clubs and institutions offer a wide range of services, including employment, immigration, and daily Q&A. It’s quite convenient and always make you get just right information when you need them. read more

I believe that the Library could have better facilities - including more seating and computers to use all around as not everyone has a computer. The WiFi is hard to access as you have to do all sorts of logging in but the career service is great, u get emails everyday recommending me jobs/internships etc. read more

I’ve really enjoyed starting my course here, the tutors and lecturers are all very inspiring and it definitely feels like they have our interests, creativity and wellbeing at the forefront. I’m slightly underwhelmed at the choice of societies, I really wanted to join one this year but the range was poor and so nothing appealed to me. Sports is good but if you’re not sporty the choice is limited. read more

The campus is expansive, though still feels close knit and simple to learn your way around- has many green spaces and quiet areas to study and relax. One thing that stood out was the specific welcome week events like plant pot painting/decorating by coco collective and mindful tea session by two mindful bees- I do not think many London universities have welcome week events for new students like these. read more
