Goldsmiths is a community space. As an international student, I thought it would be hard for me to blend in, but I was wrong. All the departments are so supportive. The different clubs are fun; you get to make friends and have fun at Uni whilst studying. The resources are endless. I don't have to buy any modules or extra books; the library is filled with all I need. There are lots of quiet spaces. lots of shops around if you need to grab lunch. The toilets are always clean. To think such a big university would have clean toilets all the time was a surprise for me, and they smell good. The transport link is so convenient you can get into central London in less than 30 min. read more

Excellent university that is one of the smaller colleges of the university of London but therefore feels really like a caring family, strong shared values and sense of community. However of course that comes with less facilities, for example a relatively expensive canteen with few choices and a quite basic library. read more

The guest internet and the university's general infrastructure are very poor. I would have higher expectations about that because I'm paying quite a lot of money for a year. So, they have to invest in this. Also, the student portal, etc., is not user-friendly! They have to invest on this case as well. read more

Coming to Goldsmiths as an international student was both exciting and a bit overwhelming at first, but the campus and community made me feel at home really quickly. Everyone here is so open-minded and welcoming — it’s easy to connect with people from all over the world. The university has this creative, free-spirited vibe that makes it stand out. I love how the historic buildings blend with modern study spaces, and there’s always a spot to relax or focus. The professors are approachable and genuinely supportive, which really helps when you’re studying away from home. Goldsmiths isn’t just a place to study — it’s a place to find your rhythm, explore new ideas, and feel part of something diverse and inspiring. read more

Being a student at Goldsmiths has been an amazing experience so far. The campus has a really creative atmosphere and the facilities are great everything feels designed to help you study comfortably and connect with others. There are plenty of spaces to work, both quietly and collaboratively, and the café areas make a nice change of scenery during the day. The clubs and societies are brilliant for meeting new people and trying new things. There’s a real sense of community, and the Students’ Union is always organising events and supporting students in meaningful ways. The Careers Service has been genuinely helpful, especially when it comes to preparing for placements and planning what to do after graduation. The Wi-Fi around campus is reliable too, which makes studying and streaming lectures easy wherever you are. Overall, Goldsmiths has such a friendly and inclusive vibe. It’s a place where you can express yourself, learn from others, and really grow both academically and personally. read more

Since, it was my first year at the university, I anticipated everything highly, I do not want to use the word disappointed but I expected more, there are not many societies or clubs being run especially for a uni famous for being radical there are no international, law, politics even history groups ,especially a debate society ,in the existing societies the participation is very low, participation enthusiasm even in seminars classrooms is rare which is affecting my interest in my studies . There are not many events or fests being held at the University like most universities do. Overall as an international student I’m questioning my move to London. read more

As a mature international student, I find myself hard to get involve with all of the younger community, that is why i did not use all of the resources fully. I think Goldsmiths did provide a lot of ways for students to communicate or complain, but the facilities (such as timetable or SeAts app) are constantly causing more workload for us, thats where the three stars came from. read more

There was not enough information about the course and there was a very large difference between the information they had heard before entering and what they newly learned after entering. It was not what I had imagined the course to be. Frustration that it costs money to join societies and that there are few free student events. read more
