Games Programming (Integrated Degree), BSc Hons FullTime

Studying MSc Computer Games Programming at Goldsmiths has been an amazing experience so far. As an international student, I was nervous in the beginning, but the professors here are really supportive and approachable. They don’t just teach the theory — they encourage you to experiment, build projects, and think creatively, which makes learning so much more engaging. The labs are well-equipped, and I’ve met classmates from different parts of the world who share the same passion for games and technology. It’s challenging at times, but in a good way — you feel yourself improving with every project. What I love most is how Goldsmiths mixes creativity with technology. It’s not just about coding; it’s about bringing ideas to life. read more

Computer Science (Cybersecurity), BSc Hons PartTime

The Computer Science (Cybersecurity) course at Goldsmiths offers a great balance between theory and practical learning. The modules are well structured, covering everything from programming and networks to ethical hacking and digital forensics. I’ve found the content both challenging and engaging, and it’s really helped me build confidence in applying cybersecurity concepts to real-world problems. The lecturers are knowledgeable and approachable, and most of them make the lessons genuinely interesting by linking the material to current developments in the field. Tutorials and lab sessions are well organised, and there’s usually good support available if you ever need extra help. My personal tutor has been really supportive, offering useful academic advice as well as guidance about placements and career planning. The course also provides excellent value for money considering the skills and hands-on experience you gain. read more

Computer Science (User Experience), BSc Hons PartTime

The course was designed and shaped by Dr Nick Hine who has since moved on to another school — it is a well constructed programme and each module finds a way to tie into the other which at time feels like a happy accident, but was actually through Nick’s genius structural planning. It is a great course and certainly one that gives and advantage over on those wanting to pursue UX-related professions, however at the time of writing this, job market is struggling and job prospects are a challenge. read more
