Glasgow Caledonian University
I’ve been living at Foundry Courtyard for a while now, and overall, it’s been a pretty good experience. The best thing about this place is definitely the location — GCU and Strathclyde are literally a few minutes away, so getting to class is super easy. The rooms are decent and come with everything you need. The building also has some nice facilities like a gym, cinema room and study areas, which makes student life a bit easier. The place feels safe, and the staff at reception are usually helpful. There are a few small downsides. Sometimes maintenance takes longer than you expect, and shared kitchens can get messy depending on who you’re living with. The rooms in shared flats aren’t huge, but they’re fine for student living. Overall, I’d say Foundry Courtyard is a solid choice if you want convenience, decent facilities and a good student vibe. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely comfortable and worth it for the location alone. read more
