Computer Science, BSc Hons FullTime
The computer science course is hardly computer science, in the first year you only have around 3 lectures a week for actual computer science (however this is mixed with some games and software engineering students so it's hardly actually computer science, more like "Computer science but only parts important for games students"), the rest of the lectures are all games lectures. It feels like you are never actually learning computer science as it's always games or robotics + some aspect of computer science. All the lecturers are teaching for games or robotics students, and computer science student are an after thought. The course is very much like working in industry, where you work in teams and teach yourself alot, but this to me is useless as I want to learn. Working in industry to me is common sense while learning and understanding computer science is much harder, so half the course you pay for is learning common sense. Overall the course is not good if you want raw computer science. read more
