Cyber Security & Digital Forensics, BSc Hons PartTime

As a current student in the BSc Cyber Security & Digital Forensics programme at the University of Greenwich, I find the course to be a well-balanced blend of theory and practical experience. It provides strong foundations in key areas such as ethical hacking, digital forensics, cryptography, and network security. The university’s accreditation by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and recognition as an Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Research (ACE-CSR) adds real credibility and value to the degree. The course offers good access to labs, tools, and supportive lecturers who are knowledgeable and approachable. The practical sessions are particularly beneficial, helping students apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios. However, there are some areas that could improve, such as communication between departments, feedback turnaround times, and the depth of certain modules. The workload can also be demanding, especially during assessment periods. read more

Computing (Artificial Intelligence), BSc FullTime

I have just started a new year, so far I can tell I am excieted to apply what I am learning into a real-world context and into professional field. I appriciate the Business Generator, I love these kind of projects that tickle students to join a community and work to something real, concrete and satisfying. I would be more happy if I could do cross learning, for example some class with who study robotics, because I think Computer science is highly related to it. I would like technologies enhanced in the lab, to work with real chips and cables and to have more interactive classes, not theory focused only, I rated with only one star the personal tutor because the portfolio leader told me that it is a figure that no longer exists, and that we have only academic tutor, but I still did not hear from anyone. I am excited to challenge my self and join more classes this year. I hope at the end of the academic year my first impression will get increasingly better. . read more
