Business and Management with Study Abroad, BA Hons FullTime
My course, Business Analytics, was not listed among the available course names. The programme is more technically focused than I expected, whereas I had anticipated a stronger emphasis on the business side. Additionally, although most information was communicated through the Business School, the programme turned out to be managed by the Department of Computer Science, which was confusing. There have also been no dedicated career sessions, so students have to seek out opportunities independently. In comparison, my friend in the Economics Department has networking events where students can discuss global issues over coffee, tea, and snacks, helping them connect with classmates. I would appreciate similar opportunities for Business Analytics students. Given the high tuition fees, I expected more career support, networking opportunities, and overall engagement from the programme. read more

There a few contact hours so the shift to independent learning has been a learning curve. The lecturers are very varied but all very experienced in their fields. The course so far has been relatively straightforward but I have found first term modules to be really engaging and accessible as someone who hasnt studied business before. read more
