Modern Languages and Cultures (with Year Abroad), BA Hons FullTime
Varies extremely language to language. German is diabolically bad, French is incredibly average. Arabic is excellent. The shame is there’s a really limited offer of cultural modules, they all tend to be 15 century theatre which can be rather dull. On your year abroad the department completely neglects you, they don’t respond to urgent emails about safety and provide little to no mental support for their students. read more
