You get to go on at least 1 fieldtrip a year, the teaching is good but due to the high number of students it is not very personal. The course content is okay but very specialised and cannot switch between BSc and BA. read more

Very good course further into the 3 years. At first both human and physical geography modules are compulsory which was a shame. In terms of teaching, majority of lecturers are good but there are some duds which I presume is the same at every university. My first dissertation advisor was very disappointing, when I asked for advice he simple told me I was not good enough (not very advisor like in my eyes). In general, bit of a mixed bag but can be good if you pick you right modules and get lucky with personal tutor selection. read more

The lecturers in Geography are brilliant but you have to be ready to do a lot of independent work. You are expected to read a lot on yourself and you don't have so much contact time. The best thing about this course is that we have very exiting field trips in the UK and overseas. read more
