I had a very good experience living at St Giles Studios. The studio is comfortable, well-equipped and conveniently located for students. The staff are friendly, helpful and responsive whenever I have questions or need support. Maintenance issues are also handled in a professional way. Overall, it is a safe and convenient place to live, and I would recommend it to other students looking for accommodation in Durham. read more

Anthropology, BSc Hons FullTime
The lecturers are very knowledgeable and some of them are so passionate that they transfer that excitement onto you, which is lovely. The course isn't too demanding and I have time to socialised, which is very important in first year. Some of the tutors aren't as good as others though, so it's really down to luck whether you have a good experience or not. I love most of the content, there are some more boring topics but that's to be expected. Not sure about job prospects.... hopefully it's good? read more
