You'll need to have: One of the following: Foundation Degree/HND Early Childhood Studies – 240 CATS points Foundation Degree/HND in relevant area such as Education or Early Years Studies Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) C grade in GCSE English and mathematics is desirable but not essential. If you do not have these qualifications you will still be accepted onto the programme but would need to realise that future employment may require these. 3 years paid experience within the sector Current employment or placement We welcome applications from people of any age who might not meet the standard entry criteria, but we would expect to see evidence of continuing academic and/or professional development and a capacity to pursue the course successfully. You must have relevant and current practice of working with children and families and have completed your probationary period with your employer. You must also possess an approved disclosure (DBS).
