The university has a regional reputation so job prospects are regional too
History, BA Hons
By cherryakai On 25th July 20History at UOB is bad value for money. I’m assuming history elsewhere is the same cause the contact hours are so low but we’re really out here paying about 40 quid for one lecture
Modern Languages and History of Art, BA Hons
By member949043 On 4th June 20Modern languages staff (Spanish) isn't helpful at all and the level of education is low. However, art history staff is very helpful and supportive, always provide as much information as possible, very responsible people. I enjoyed seminars during which we visited many museums and had a study trip to London. Modules are very engaging and there are great optional modules too.

Good solid course but barely any contact hours

By efeneh On 19th December 16For me personally, the rating for course content is quite low. This is very subjective, however. I've very much enjoyed my course so far, and I am looking forward to taking a year studying abroad and using the University's immense resources to aid my dissertation.
