By GCSgirl On 2nd May 16I enjoy the subject but don't think the course is necessarily worth the amount of money we have to pay, I don't think the organisation of the course has been very good and I don't think seminars make the best use of time, in most cases I feel they are pointless except in one module where I actually gain a better understanding from the seminars

Politics and Economics, BSc Hons
By member95958 On 31st March 15Economics lecturers are all brilliant. No complaints, have been very happy with the standard of their teaching. Politics has been more hit and miss, however. Theres everything from inspiring and great, to mediocre, to just plain bad. Although is common practice, books are not provided. Library stocks a few copies, however you'd think that paying 9 grand a year at least some of the core texts would be provided to each student. Personal tutor basically doesn't exist, have been requested to meet just once so far.
