Nursing Studies (Adult Nursing), BSc Hons

It has been a waste of time so far but apparently year 2 gets harder. 1 or 2 days a week is not a "full time" degrees and I could have taught some lectures better myself. Hopefully placement will be good

Course offers a great range of opportunities and support. Completing all exams and coursework before going into placement during first year helps students to settle in before dedication time for placement.

All theory and exams in first year are completed before going into placement, you get hands on experiences in the simulation suites during time at university.

Nursing Studies (Child Nursing), BSc Hons

By On 31st July 19

Facilities on the uni are brilliant and the library is wonderful. Very aesthetic and such a lovely campus. however, support from the uni has been poor - have had to seek help from outside the uni, as when asked for support, they have been very uninterested and unhelpful. Personal tutor rarely replies to emails let alone helps with issues. Course hardly prepared us for placement and portfolio was hardly explained to us before placement, causing issues for many students. Was told we wouldn't have exams whilst on placement, but so far we have had three. The exams we were given were hardly explained and we weren't told how to prep for them - it was a case of just do it on the day because no one knew what to expect. Overall, support and quality of course has been disappointing.
