Waste of time. Most of the tutors don’t respect you and don’t really teach anything substantial.

I decided I didn’t like the course for myself very early on however was a couple of days too late to change so had to stick with it. The lecturers are lovely

Terrible course. Course ranking went from 8th to 36th in the country within 3 years, which shows just how poor the course is. Teaching was basic and lack luster, favoritism with students was clear as day, no practical trips within the 3 years. Nothing to do with news rooms or actual real life journalism throughout the 3 years, leaving students utterly unprepared. Facilities were so basic it was a joke. We were using 5+ year old basic computers. Software was all out of date. They had lecturers teaching us without teaching qualifications or without a relevant degree. The lack of module choices were a joke. The course is shambolic, I wouldn't not recommend coming here to anyone who wishes to be a journalist, they teach you nothing and offer no support or guidance.

It’s overall amazing! Loving every second of the course I am doing, the staff are very knowledgable and always there to help you whether it’s inside of uni or outside when you’re struggling with an assignment and needing some help, they always reply to emails!

There's not enough practical stuff on the course and 9 hours per week doesn't seem enough considering the tuition fees.
