Very good course further into the 3 years. At first both human and physical geography modules are compulsory which was a shame. In terms of teaching, majority of lecturers are good but there are some duds which I presume is the same at every university. My first dissertation advisor was very disappointing, when I asked for advice he simple told me I was not good enough (not very advisor like in my eyes). In general, bit of a mixed bag but can be good if you pick you right modules and get lucky with personal tutor selection.
Amazing and knowledgable tutours. Good range of topics. They are all linked as well, and human and physical work together really well. Plenty of science, computer stuff and theory so you can choose what you want to spend time on.
The lecturers in Geography are brilliant but you have to be ready to do a lot of independent work. You are expected to read a lot on yourself and you don't have so much contact time. The best thing about this course is that we have very exiting field trips in the UK and overseas.
