Psychology with Professional Placement Year, BSc Hons FullTime
The support has been amazing within the course. Most tutors are very helpful and often respond well to enthusiasm and promote opportunities across the uni. One issue is teaching quality and standards across practicals, often there are discrepancies across how different lecturers help, guide and mark practical work. We had to issue a formal complaint due to unfair marking and guidance, which the university dealt with very hastily and with lots of support. The course material is very informative. Although each year just builds on knowledge previously learnt which may seem repetitive but is vital for getting a job later.

Admin can be a bit bad with timetabling. Had an incident where the WiFi went down for the entire department right before a deadline. Not many opportunities offered compared to other courses to get involved during the course. Although summer internship opportunities are pretty good. read more
