Entry requirements for Languages and Others in Language and Area Studies at Cardiff University
Entry requirements are the formal requirements students need to meet to be considered for a place on a university course. But, each year many universities accept students with lower grades. The bar chart below shows the actual UCAS tariff points of students currently on this course.

Required subjects for Music and a Modern Language BA Hons at Cardiff University
Must include grade B in Music. If you have grade B in a language at A level you will have access to the languages Upper Elementary pathway.
Applicants without an A-level in Music will be considered on a case-by-case basis to determine appropriate levels of music performance and theory skills (such as Grade 6/7 Music Theory).
Where skill levels cannot be determined by alternative qualifications, you may be invited to audition.
